This 1956 Thunderbird has a 292 V-8 engine, 3-speed manual transmission, fender shields, a soft top and a hardtop with portholes. It needs a complete restoration. As of July, 2006 it was for sale on ebay and located in Livingston Manor, New York.Gary Johnson says: I just purchased this 1956 Thunderbird on eBay. I will add history as I find it. (located in New London, Wisconsin) <p> UPDATE APRIL 29, 2011: Owner Rob McCarry says: I purchased this car from Gary Johnson in 2006. This car now resides in Neenah Wisconsin and is waiting for and in need of complete restoration. I do have pictures to add if you want actual current condition. This is a numbers correct automobile that has been sitting in storage facilities since 1969. it is partially disassembled and needing a complete frame off only missing components are one tail light assembly and the front bumper filler panel. It includes Port Hole Hard top/ Folding soft top, fender shirts and continental kit. This is a 292 V8 with 3 speed manual transmission. Original Red exterior/ Red Interior.
