Walter J. Fries Jr. says: This is a 1956 Thunderbird. It is Raven Black (A) with a black hard top (A), a black soft top, and a black and white interior (XA). It has Fordomatic, power steering, power seat, power windows, tinted glass, backup lights, wire wheel covers, fender shields, radio, MagicAire Heater, and the engine dress-up kit. I also own Registry Number 25786, a 2005 Special Edition. Update June 2013, Walter adds: My goal is to find the name of the original owner a Ford Motor Company employee who was a Vice President of one of Ford's divisions. My invoice tells me it was delivered to a point of distribution by a C. Morsey, Jr. at E 528 Ford Div Garage. I talked to Mr Morsey, who is now 94 and he does not recall the car. The original owner died, what I was told, in 1996 then another person purchased it from his estate until I purchased it from a broker who was selling the car for the second owner. UPDATE February 2022, it is for sale at Classic Auto Mall in Morgantown, Pennsylvania.
