This 1956 Thunderbird has a 312 V-8 engine, Fordomatic transmission, manual windows, manual seat, power steering, fender shields, white soft top and a hardtop with portholes. It sold for $142,560 at Barrett-Jackson in January of 2006. (Dennis Dole added picture 6/13/12) Phil Skinner adds that in May 2013 it sold for $90,000 at the Mecum auction in Indiana. In September 2014 it was offered for sale on ebay and was located in Ft Worth, TX. It was originally sold at Pitre Ford in Ville Platte, LA. (invoice information) UPDATE December 2014, Dennis Dole reports it will be offered at the 2015 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction (Lot #1020.1).
