James Chism says: My 1956 Thunderbird is in excellent condition with no rust, ever. It has 55,000 miles and spent 20 years in a collection in Scottsdale, Arizona. Prior to that it was in California, originally having been sold in the San Jose ordering district. An undocumented story is that when the car was purchased by the original owner the color was changed to Fiesta Red. It has a lacquer paint job and appears to have been Fiesta Red for some time. --- -----As originally registered by Arthur Ash III:---This 1956 Thunderbird has a 312 V-8 engine, engine dress-up kit, Master Guide power steering, power brakes, Fordomatic transmission, tinted glass, fender shields, windshield washer and a white hardtop with portholes. It did not meet its reserve on ebay in March, 2004. It was located in Nashville, Tennesee at that time.<p>
