This modified 1956 Ford Thunderbird was for sale in Palm Springs, California. It had a complete body off restoration completed in February 2006 and is powered by a 3.9 liter V8 out of a 2000 Lincoln LS with a 5 speed automatic with Overdrive transmission. It is equipped with a Mustang II front end, 79 Granada hubs and rotors, 78 Malibu calipers, Mustang II coil springs, 15" spoked roadster wheels, and a 12 CD changer mounted in the trunk. The dash was remade to accommodate the 2002 instrument cluster. The wiring has all been replaced with the Lincoln wiring harness with the main computer in the instrument cluster and two additional computers in the trunk. UPDATE December 2013, it will be offered at the 2014 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction (Lot #1035).
