I was so excited when I found it in the Registry. And equally excited when I discovered it had went across the Barrett Jackson auction block in 2001. I may finally be able to track down some paperwork.
=========== Phil Skinner provided the original documentation for this Thunderbird in 2003: This is a 1956 Thunderbird. It is Colonial White (E) with a white hard top and a red and white interior; it does not have a soft top. It originally had a tan and white interior (XD). It was scheduled for production on November 29, 1955 (29L). It has Fordomatic, power brakes, and power windows. In January, 2001 it was sold for $34,560 at the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Phoenix, Arizona. As of January, 2003 its status was unknown.
