This is a 1956 Thunderbird. It is Peacock (L) with a Colonial White (E) hard top and a turquoise and white interior (XC). It was scheduled for production on December 7, 1955 (6M). It was originally sold in Hot Springs, South Dakota. This Thunderbird was on the cover of Early Bird Magazine (January-February 1981). At that time it was owned by J. B. McGee who lived in Washington State.
In the March-April 1986 edition of Early Bird it was offered for sale by Mr. McGee and was in Albuquerque, New Mexico. UPDATE May 2012, Dennis Dole supplied the picture, which was on the cover of that Early Bird magazine in 1981.
