This is a 1956 Thunderbird. It is Sage Green (Z) originally with a green and white interior (XF). It was scheduled for production on January 9, 1956 (9A) and ordered through the Los Angeles, California District Sales Office (LP). It now has a black and white interior, and is equipped with 3-speed manual transmission and overdrive, fender skirts, and engine dress-up kit. It was seen at Birds on the Wharf at Santa Cruz, California in October, 2003. UPDATE October 2013, Jim Moe reports it was spotted at the CTCI show in Des Moines, Iowa on August 23, 2013. This Thunderbird is the subject of much publicity as it has been photographed in front of all 50 United States capital buildings.
