This is a 1956 Thunderbird. Its original color was Colonial White (E) with a Peacock and white interior (XC). It was scheduled for production on March 10, 1956 (10C). It is now painted candy apple red. It has a hard top and a soft top (color unknown). It has Fordomatic. In January, 2003 it was sold for $45,360 at the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Phoenix, Arizona. UPDATE September 2012, Dennis Dole reports it was offered at the Silver Auctions- Sun Valley Auction (Lot #73) in September 2012. It was a no sale at $42,000. The writeup states that the soft top is black. It has Idaho plate PRETBRD. (picture updated)
