Stephen Koper says: I purchased my 1955 Thunderbird in June of 2004. It is currently in the process of being restored. I am attempting to trace the history of the car. It appears that it was shipped form England to Australia then to Las Vegas. The car curently resides in New York. I am orginally from Detroit and literally could see the Ford Rouge plant where this car was built from my bedroom window. This car has literally been arround the world. If anyone has any information or history on this vehicle please contact me. It would be greatly appreciated. [November 20, 2004]
As submitted by Arthur Ash III on May 20, 2004: This 1956 Thunderbird has a 312 V-8 engine, power windows, power seats and no hardtop. It is converted to right hand drive. It was shipped to England shortly after it was new. As of May, 2004 it was for sale on ebay and located in Las Vegas, Nevada.
