Robert Gibson says: I purchased my 1956 Thunderbird from Minter's in Dallas, Texas. It was delivered to New York on April 30, 2004. It is equipped with power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, Fordomatic, Town & Country radio, wire wheels, Coker www radials, porthole hardtop (Fiesta red), white soft top, and a 12-volt electrical system. It had 58,941 miles on odometer when delivered. According to Minter, car was always in the Dallas/Fort Worth area since new. Update May 18, 2011: This is an Amos Minter restoration, all original except for the wire wheels. My dad bought the car in 2004 and left it to me, his son, when he passed away in 2010. UPDATE April 2013, Becky Schott reports Dave decided he would be too busy to properly enjoy the Tbird, so he gave it to me, his daughter. It's a great driving car! September 2017, NYS DMV current registration in Saratoga County.
