Richard Howes says: I just purchased my 1956 Thunderbird in September, 2004. It has the original engine and drive train; it seems to have been repainted once. It is currently white with a white and green interior (re-done). The original sales invoice is dated July 12, 1956 from Ottumwa, Iowa. It has power steering and tinted glass. The previous owner included both hard and soft tops as well as a landau cover. It is considered to be in good shape but is not show quality. UPDATE July 2017 it was for sale in Pleasanton, California. (picture added)
