Offered on eBay July 2004 desription states:
1956 Ford Thunderbird, that is mostly original and was originally a "southern car." The body and interior are an older restoration, but still look very fresh. There are no rips or tears in the interior. The body is relatively straight although you can see some bubbling or pimpling if you look very closely. This is not a "show car," but rather a very enjoyable driver. The car is finished in one of the more rare colors, Peacock Blue. When I got the car the other owner had professionally installed a Chevy 350 engine, with a 350 Chevy three speed automatic. Nothing was cut or chopped to do the conversion, as you can see it fits in there very well. I have had people look at it and think it was the original motor. This car is for someone that wants a nice "driver" with a lot of dependability and will turn a lot of heads. The car is being sold with the soft top only. This car runs very well. The floors and trunk are in very good shape as are the body mounts. The air ducts are all there and seem to be in tact. The clock and tachometer are not connected, nor is the original town and country radio.
