This 1956 Thunderbird is nicely documented in the "Original Owner" section of the May-Jun 1987 edition of Early Bird Magazine on page # 7. This car is mentioned as being bought new from Rye Ford in Rye, New York in April of 1956. The picture in the magazine shows that this T-bird is white with a white porthole top. This car was probably somewhere in New Jersey when the article was written, owned by Mr. Clyde M. E. Dolan, whose grandfather was the original owner.
