Gary Hanson says: I am now the owner of my father's 1956 Thunderbird, as he passed away recently. This car and Registry Number 17428 reside together in our garage. My parents were married for a few months and split up in the early 50's. These "2" cars helped bring my father and I closer together toward the end of his life. They will always be very special to me.
================ Archie Hanson says: This car was sold in the Houston, Texas sales district, it remained in the first owners family for three generations. (Parent to child to grandchild). It was sold to a dealer in classic Thunderbirds. The car is what I call a "survivor" it is rust free and relatively untouched. This bird is "Raven Black". It has Ford "O" matic, power brakes, power steering, power seat; it has no soft top. The interior is black and white, powered by the 312 4 Barrel. The car drives and runs very well for a veteran. A new set of Coker Classic wide white radials were recently added WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!!
