This 1956 Thunderbird was offered for sale on ebay and was located in Anaheim, CA. It is Buckskin Tan with a matching porthole hardtop and a brown and white interior. It is equipped with a Fordomatic transmission, power windows, engine dress up kit and fender skirts. UPDATE, December 2013, Tom Lang notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. Tom adds this information: The car was purchased on May 11, 1956 by Flossie Lafond from Fortner Ford, Los Angeles. From 1987-1995 it sat in her garage while she was in Hawaii. Purchased by Ken Gunnell in January 1999 with original paint and 125,000 miles. In 2000 it underwent an 8 month complete body-off, frame-up restoration by Mike Altizer of San Marino, CA, with full photo documentation. Body and paint by Rick Hoffman of Valinda, chrome by General Plating of LA, and engine rebuild by Steve's Machine Shop of Azusa. Purchased at some point by Dennis Dole of CA. Upon his death his widow sold it to me through Corvette Mike of Anaheim on October 26, 2013. The car was delivered to me on November 17, 2013 in Hummelstown, PA where it is now garaged.
