This 1956 Thunderbird is in driveable condition but needs much cosmetic work. It has Fordomatic, power brakes, power seat, and power steering. As of March 2009 it was located in Southern Calfornia. + + + + UPDATE April 2012, Scott Mahoney of Melbourne, Australia notified the Registry that he owns this car. He says this: This 1956 Thunderbird, Sunset Coral (Y) Black and white trim(XA) build date May 3 1956 was delivered new to San Jose, California and appears to have been a California car all its life up until April 2011 before coming to Melbourne, Australia. I took ownership in January 2012. It is a very original car which looks never to be restored, original floor,trunk floor, rocker panels (sill panels) etc. Still running it's original but rebuilt 312 4V, Fordomatic, power seats, Town and Country radio.
