Kenneth Maxwell says: The build sheet indicates this 1956 Thunderbird was built 31 May 1956 @ 6:58 PM and was marked as "TAG" (held at the factory for a Ford executive use or as a special car for advertisements,etc.) the bottom of the build sheet also indicates it was "CAF" (Corp. AD. Fund) and "DA" (dealer advertising fund). This must have been one of the first cars with the four bladed fans and the new Burtex trunk mat. It has a Powert-Pack set-up on it, and the owner before me added air conditioning. I'm thinking about removing the generator and installing an alternator to help the battery with the extra load. The car is in for a fresh paint job now, it was red but my wife and I are bringing it back as stock looking as we can.
