This 1956 Thunderbird was the front cover car in the July-August 1996 issue of Early Bird magazine. The owners were Richard and Virginia Knapp from Shaker Heights, Ohio. It was restored by Classic Connection Thunderbird Restoration in Cleveland, OH. This car led the parade at the ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland on September 1, 1995. The photo taken outside the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame shows owner Virginia Knapp on the left and Cynthia Sawyer, the owner of Classic Connection Thunderbird Restoration, on the right.
