This 1956 Thunderbird sold at the Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas 2008 Auction (Lot #826.1) for $55,000. It was reported as 44,000 miles. A ground-up restoration was performed on this T-Bird; it is Peacock Blue with Peacock and white interior. The car features a porthole hard top and white soft top, Fordomatic, engine dress-up kit, fender skirts and Kelsey Hayes chrome wire wheels. This Thunderbird received a Concours Primary Division Award at the Vintage Thunderbird International Convention on August 9, 2008. UPDATE It will be offered at the 2016 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction (Lot #516).
