Don Hover says: I am the 3rd owner of this 1956 Thunderbird. The interesting thing about this car is that it was tagged as an export from Jersey City, New Jersey to a San Francisco, California. Ford dealer - S & C Motors which is still there, however the original owner bought the car as a new car off the showroom floor in Long Beach, California. on 12/07/56. I did have a chance to talk to him and he was Betty Grables dancing partner in her Las Vegas act in 1957, however I cannot find out how the car got to Long Beach from San Francisco. UPDATE Glen Hockenjos reports it is now for sale/ auction by A Better Bid Car Auction in Los Angeles, California. It has serious damage to its passenger side and has 62,831 miles on its odometer.
