This 1956 Thunderbird was offered for sale on eBay in Clearwater, Florida by Golden Classics. It was restored approximately 2000 Miles ago. It is Fiesta Red with a white Top and a red and white interior. It has Fordomatic, air conditioner, both tops and skirts. It was on the Cover of "EARLY BIRD" in 2008. They have the original build sheet, owners manual and receipts for work performed. The documentation shows that the car was originally purchased from Gerelick Motors Inc, 4719 N 30th St., Omaha, Nebraska. The invoice states that the driver who was to deliver this Thunderbird to the dealer was to collect $2809.02 as the car was "COD"; this amount included a 50-cent COD collection fee. - - - - - - - UPDATE December, 2012: Jerry Drayton says: I purchased the car on October 25, 2012 from Golden Classics in Clearwater, Florida. The car is currently located in Decatur, Georgia where it is stored in a climate controlled garage. It runs and has been restored to very high level. UPDATE November 2013, Jerry Drayton says: It appeared in the 2016 Dolly Parton Christmas movie, "Dolly Parton's Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love." It was elevated to AACA Senior Car in 2017 and won the Larry Seyfarth Award for Best of Show at the 2017 VTCI International Convention. It was also awarded Gold and elevated to Senior Car Status at the 2018 CTCI International Convention. I am a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America, the Classic Thunderbird Club International, the Vintage Thunderbird Club International and the Atlanta Classic Thunderbird Club which is Chapter 56 of CTCI.
