John Franks says: This car was purchased in 1956 at Earl McMillian Ford Inc. The window sticker has Aug 3, 1956, 1:49AM on it. We were told this car was registered to the dealer, then the next year was registered to his wife, who later sold it to a friend because she wanted someone she knew to have it. He sold it to a lady in Dayton, Texas named Pat Smith (who at one time had six other Thunderbirds.) She sold it to us - John and Judy Franks in October of 2000. Judy had always wanted a T-bird. We have been in a slow process of restoring the car. We have it in a air conditioned climate and are very glad to have this great machine.
