An Edelebrock-built 341" Y-Block (Bored/Stroked 312") was installed by the Edelbrock shop in 1956, with 3x2 intake, custom Hedman headers, and Dual-Point ignition. This 1956 Thunderbird is documented as being stolen in the May-Jun 1986 edition of Early Bird Magazine on page #16. It was later recovered (intact) and returned to the owner (Lloyd Mogensen). It was repainted & reupholstered at that time, but never fully reassembled. It remained in storage until acquired by current owner. Current owner (Todd Jolliff) sourced missing parts, completed extensive mechanical refreshing, and continues to enjoy it as a show/shine/drive car in collection. Car remains a rust/accident-free '56 Bird with under 80k miles.

Plans include disc brakes, a 349" Y-block stroker, C4 transmission, and a 9" rear end. - - - - - - - - (picture added, status changed to Intact)
