Donna Rothe says: I purchased my 1957 Thunderbird several years ago. It is a base model T-bird, 292 2V, manual transmission, no air, no power options. It currently has wrong paint and wrong color interior. I do have the hard top and the soft top. I also have the original invoice for this car. It has a Deaborn Assembly Plant date stamp of Sep 13 3:28 PM. It was sold to Horne Motor Company, Beaufort, South Carolina with an invoice date of 9/11/57. It had a base price of $2373.41 (no charge for A Color, 750 x 14 SSW STD tires). Sched A , 260.12 and Sched B destn. Chg 89.00, 10 gal gas at 2.34 and FDAF charge of 8.00 for a total of $2,732.91.
