This low VIN 1957 Thunderbird is advertised as for sale on the classicbirds@yahooogroups website for 1955-57 Thunderbird owners and enthusiasts. It is described as being Colonial White with a black and white interior and automatic transmission. It had a frame off restoration in 1985-87 and has won numerous awards including the 1990 CTCI Championship. It's asking price is $42,000 and is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania being owned by Clark. Picture added 12/12/13. UPDATE September 2014, David L. Hussung notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says: I recently acquired this Colonial White, D-code 1957 Thunderbird at the Auction America Auburn Fall Auction and would appreciate any information regarding same. I have photos of a frame-off restoration which I believe was performed in 1985-87. I would be particularly interested in who performed the restoration and any details regarding original and subsequent owners, dealership, etc.
