In February 2016 this 1957 Thunderbird was offered for sale on ebay and was located in Kingston, PA. It is a project car that has been partially disassembled. It is equipped with a Fordomatic transmission. UPDATE November 2016, Ken Leaver notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says: I am the current owner, currently being restored by myself. The frame currently blasted, painted with new suspension parts - power train has been rebuilt and installed in frame. The body is on a rotisserie being repaired. I hope to have it reassembled by the summer. UPDATE August 2017, Ken says… The vehicle drive line and suspension have been completely rebuilt and installed in the frame. The body work is completed and reinstalled on the frame. It was painted complete Starmist Blue. The electrical work is complete as well as the door and windows. I am currently waiting for my interior so I can complete the vehicle this winter. UPDATE, July 2018, The vehicle has been totally rebuilt. When I first bought it 3 years ago I was told that it would cost more than it would be worth when completed. Well that might have been correct it - it took about 1400 hours and about $17,000 total.
