This 1957 Thunderbird was seen at the Mecum Auction near Orlando, Florida. UPDATE July 2015, Robert Wimberger notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says: Currently in process of joining every TBird club on the Planet. Well CTCI, TARTC and Rocky Mountain TBird. I purchased at Mecum Auction in Denver 6/27/15. It came with a four barrel Holley and what appears to be an after market air conditioner. The grille badge shows that a previous owner was a CTCI member. It was over heating on the short distance from the auction to the garage so I replaced the water pump and thermostat, also replaced the fuel gauge sender, motor for one of the power windows, and also out the steering wheel to a smaller one that fits my fat ass. - - - - - - - - - - - -I had a professional appraisal done, condition of the body and mechanicals was rated very good, while the interior was rated good. Up next is replacing some of the interior vinyl and fixing the clock.
