This 1957 Thunderbird is missing some window glass, and is in rough but restorable condition. It was for sale in Kingston, Pennsylvania. UPDATE May 2021, Wade Kuchenbrod notified the Registry that he owns his Thunderbird, having purchased it in May 2021. He says: I found a 1976 registration document in the glove box with an address in Covina, California. I heard that the car went to a junkyard in AZ for many years until recently purchased by a collector in Pennsylvania. The car was purchased for restoration from the collector and stored in Maxatawny, Pennsylvania for the last several months.
The car is about to get a full tune up, fluid replacement, brake replacement, rubber parts replacement, tires and become drivable again. - - - - - - - - - - UPDATE November 2021, Wade says the car is licensed and has been returned to a roadworthy condition. Along with numerous other improvements the interior was restored to stock XL trim colors.
