This 1957 Thunderbird was for sale at Dave Stewart Auto Sales, 5005 W. Alexis Road, Sylvania, Ohio. UPDATE January 2022, Jon says: We purchased it from Dave Stewart Auto Sales, Sylvania Ohio 11/1/2021. He sold it for the Estate of James Welzbacher 6226 Winter Rd. Michigan, who is alleged to have purchased it from Hill’s Thunderbirds, Ohio, in 1991. Vehicle may have sat for 2-5 years depending on source of information. License plate registration indicates it was last registered for street operation in 1996. As of 1/2022 it is going through complete body on restoration to factory specifications in California. It has a Colonial White exterior, white hard top, black soft top with swing arm, tonneau cover, power steering, power brakes, town and country radio, turbine hub caps, windshield washers, tinted glass, OEM seat belts, white black interior with white trim. This is a 312 4 barrel, automatic car. UPDATE May 2022, Jon says: During disassembly, we found evidence that the original owner may have been William Lancaster who lived in Akron, ohio and worked for what would become Goodyear Tire Company. Mr. Lancaster actually signed a concealed part of the car.
