This is a 1957 Thunderbird. It is Willow Green (J) with a Raven Black hard top (A) and a green interior (XM). It was scheduled for production on November 28, 1956 (28L) and ordered through the Ford Motor Company Export District Sales Office (82). It has numerous "export" factory modifications including a metric speedometer, locking gas cap, foot operated tire pump, and heavy duty shock absorbers. It was shipped from the assembly plant as "Tag Lago Motors" in Maracaibo, Venezuela. The current owner states that this car was returned to the United States in 1970. As of October, 2003 it was in Ely, Iowa. UPDATE As of September, 2013 it was for sale on ebay and located in Sonoma, California. (picture updated)
