This is a 1957 Thunderbird. It is Coral Sand (Z) with a Colonial White (E) hard top. It has a white interior (XK). It was scheduled for production on December 18, 1956 (18M) and ordered through the Des Moines, Iowa District Sales Office (52). This Thunderbird was seen at the Kruse Auction in Indiana in September, 2002. Arthur Ash III supplied the picture and he reports that as of January, 2005 it was being offered for sale in Wake Forest, North Carolina. UPDATE August 2012, Dennis Dole reports it is for sale in Topeka, Kansas. (date code corrected) UPDATE October 2012, Ken Scribner notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He purchased it on September 11, 2012. He adds this history about the car: Sold at Auction in North Carolina (2005) to Mack Innis, 4703 Yorkshire, Pensacola Florida, 32506. Sold to Steve Huddleston in July 2011, 412 NE Aspen Lane, Topeka Kansas, 66617 while on a Florida visit to his friend, Mack Innis who had the car For Sale at that time. Ken also owns a 2004 Thunderbird which is RN 41283.
