This is a 1957 Thunderbird. Its original color was Colonial White (E) and it had a red interior (XH). It was scheduled for production on January 8, 1957 (8A). It is now red with a tan leather interior, and was sold for $67,800 in January, 2000 at the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Phoenix, Arizona. Arthur Ash III reports that as of February, 2006 it was for sale on eBay and located in Solon, Ohio. The emblems and Thunderbird logo on the fenders and the hood scoop trim has been gold plated in 24K gold. And so have half of the spokes in the wire wheels. It was sold at the Palm Beach, Florida sale of Barrett-Jackson in 2007.
