Andrew J. Pinto says: I purchased my 1957 Thunderbird in June of 2005 from Duffys Collectible Cars in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She came with a bronze exterior and copper interior. Also included was power steering, power brakes, powerwindows, and power seat. It has an after-market am/fm stereo-cassette radio with two speakers placed behind the seat. To better hear the radio at highway speeds I installed a special dual-cone stereo speaker in the space of the original dash speaker. It works great. I also had the clock rebuilt using the quartz movement. When I got the car it came with a white hardtop and a tonneau cover. I have since purchased and installed a complete, used, soft-top assembly. Last but not least it has a 312 engine, single 4V carb. And Fordomatic transmission. As far as how many owners before me I don’t have a clue. All efforts to locate previous owners have resulted in dead-ends. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be most appreciative. UPDATE September 2017, New York State DMV registration is current.
