This 1957 Thunderbird has a 312 V-8 engine, Fordomatic transmission, manual windows, manual seat, manual steering, manual brakes and fender shields. As of March, 2006 it was for sale on ebay and located in Hartfield, Virginia. UPDATE July 2014 Dennis Dole reports it was offered for sale on ebay and was located in Houston, TX. It is white with a white soft top and a red interior. It has power steering. No data plate on the car. It just has a TX registration ID (with the Ford VIN) in the door frame (photo included). (picture added) February 2015, Tim Boni notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says: I had the Bird delivered from Houston, Tx., in late Oct. '14. It is in very nice condition, wth a new top and interior already completed. It has newer paint and it shines well, and has new tires also. I runs and sounds great! I have added a new 15" steering wheel, wide whitewalls, wire wheel covers. I have started the under hood re-con with a new battery, air cleaner, heater valve, and newly polished valve covers. When the weather warms a bit, all the black under hood area will be made to look new, also. I've been wanting this car for 40 yrs, now I got it! Can't wait till summer!
