Keith says: My father (Gerald Ingersoll, of Clifton, NJ) purchased this car in Westchester County, NY, in 1967 and still owns it today. An original 312 CID/automatic car painted Thunderbird Bronze, this '57 Thunderbird was converted to 427 CID and 4-speed transmission and was actively campaigned from 1969-1970 at several drag strips in the New York/New Jersey area. It was put into storage from 1971-early 2000s. As of 2016, the car is undergoing restoration; it is in outstanding condition.
