This is a 1957 Thunderbird. It is Flame Red (V) with a Flame Red (V) hard top and a red interior (XH). It was scheduled for production on January 29, 1957 (29A) and ordered through the Memphis, Tennessee District Sales Office (63). It has a tan soft top, power steering, power brakes, engine dress-up kit, fender skirts, and Fordomatic. It was seen at Birds on the Wharf in Santa Cruz, California in October, 2003. Arthur Ash III, who supplied the picture, reports that it was sold for $67,500 at the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Phoenix, Arizona in January, 2005. UPDATE December 2013 Dennis Dole reports it will be offered at the 2014 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction (Lot #1249). UPDATE October 2015 it is for sale at The Garage, 9400 NW 25th Street, Miami, FL 33172.
