John Sailors says: I have owned my 1957 Thunderbird since July 5, 1966. It is painted the original Starmist Blue. It has Overdrive transmission, disc brakes, and air conditioning. Even though it has a scheduled build date of February 1 (1B) I know that it left the assembly plant on January 31, 1957. When I bought the car, the original sales sheet was in it, indicating it was sold new by San Jose Ford; I tossed out that sales sheet the next day! The picture was taken in July, 2005 at the CTCI Regional Meet in Olympia, Washington.
