This 1957 Thunderbird was spotted at the Mecum Auction in Chicago, Illinois. UPDATE This '57 Bird was originally restored by R. Arnold in Florida. It was originally delivered to Capital City Ford in Baton Rouge, LA. It was given to the late Governor Earl Long upon its delivery. The Governor eventually gave the car as a gift to his mistress, Blaze Starr. You can find more info from a magazine article, Mike Kelly's Cruise News in the cover car section. Mr. Arnold sold the car in 2013. The buyer, from Chicago, unexpectedly died a few months afterwards. The surviving family put the car in a Mecum Auction.
