David Wesche says: My 1957 T-Bird was sold new in Long Beach, California. I have the original bill of sale. It has power windows, power seat, power steering, power brakes, and a 312 engine with a 3 speed automatic My dad bought it at a used car lot in Alabama in 1962 for $2200 and it's been in our family ever since. The data plate shows that the original color was Inca Gold. I did a complete restoration on it in 2005. Inasmuch as it may be a sin to not go with the original color, my entire family voted on painting it blue since that's the only color we've ever known it to be and we have no plans to ever sell it. While still in the USAF and stationed at Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, I was a member of the Las Vegas Classic Thunderbird Club. Since retiring from the USAF I moved back to my home state of Louisiana.
