Robert Edwards says: I am trying to find out if the 1957 Thunderbird that I purchased new on April 13, 1957, is still alive. I have the original Bill of Sale plus several other important papers that go with this T-Bird. I also have the log sheet that I recorded every penny that was spent on this car, including gasoline and oil. I know the overall gas mileage for the 56,000 + miles that I drove this car. I believe the present owner would be as happy to find me, as I would to find him or her. The VIN is - D7FH256004. It was red/red with both white tops. It had a set of Lucas Flame Thrower driving lamps in the grille area that came off of a 56 Porsche. After I traded the car, the dealer painted it black, and rolled the spedometer back to 14,000 miles. I am just about finished restoring a '57, which will be a clone to my original car.
I will keep my fingers crossed!========== Regards, Robert Edwards, Houston, TX CTCI #23083 - - - - - - - - - - - - UPDATE February 2015, picture added. Status unchanged. = = = = = = = UPDATE October 2016, Dorgan Phillips says that he recently purchased this Thunderbird.
