[Former owner] Jake notified the Registry in May 2010 that he owns this 1957 Thunderbird. It has been completely restored. The engine number does not match the car, but it is the correct 312 V-8. This 1957 Thunderbird is documented in the "Original Owners Survey" section of the May-Jun 1986 edition of early Bird Magazine on page #12. This car was described as being a "rusted beauty" and a daily driver with over 368,000 miles on it. It was located in Paris, Illinois with its original owner: Mr. Ernest O. Dahlin. UPDATE November 2020, Cindy Shuler notified the Registry that she owns this Thunderbird. She says she purchased it on October 5, 2020. It had been parked for a while, and in need of some TLC which will be done over the winter.
