Joe Albert says: My 1957 Thunderbird is Inca Gold with a white interior. It currently has a black soft top and a Colonial White port hole hard top. I've owned it for 9 years. It is a very nice driver. It now has both tops and I just redid the hardtop. Last year I completely rebuilt the 312 engine which included new pistons, block, crank, cam, rockers, lifters, oil pump and internal parts. I have installed radial tires and front and rear sway bars. If the steering were a bit faster it would drive like a 2000 model car. This winter I installed a new ring and pinion as the old one was noisey (pitted teeth from setting). The paint and body work were done in 1984 and the car sat from about 1985 until February 1996 when I bought it. It is fun to drive and my wife and I cruise with friends whenever possible.
