This 1957 Thunderbird was documented in the March-April 1989 issue of Early Bird (page 13) by the owner, Maurice Mentens. Maurice bought the car in the Netherlands in the late 1970's. It had lots of rust issues and missing parts. He started a restoration of the car around 1986 and the restoration was continuing at the time of the article in 1989. The car is Gunmetal Gray with red interior, both tops, power windows, power brakes and manual transmission with Overdrive. The car was located in Grevenbicht, The Netherlands.
