This 1957 Thunderbird was documented in the January-February edition of Early Bird as being sold at the Lorn Gates Estate Auction at North Central Kansas Tech College in Beloit on 05/31/08. It sold for $19,500. UPDATE February 2024, it is owned by McPherson College Automotive Restoration Program in McPherson, Kansas. McPherson is the only college in the world to offer a 4-year bachelor's degree in Automotive Restoration. The dataplate has a factory error on it, the date code actually being stamped as 0YE.
