James Keller says: My 1957 Thunderbird was invoiced on June 13, 1957 and I have that original invoice. It was purchased approximately 10 years ago by Dan Devos of the Amway Corporation in Grand Rapids, Michigan and kept in his private collection. I purchased the car in September, 2003. It is a rare no-heater-option with 3-speed manual transmission and Overdrive, power steering, and Town and Country radio. Backup lights were not ordered and neither were any other power options. It is correct Flame Red with a Colonial White port hole hard top; it also has a convertible top. It has approximately 94,000 miles on the odometer. The engine was just rebuilt with all new everything and has zero miles on it.

Tom Sheets says that he spotted this 1957 Thunderbird at a car show located at the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan on August 7, 2004. It is owned by Jim and Dena Keller of Galesburg, Michigan. It has an interesting history. Upon assembly, it was delivered to Bay City Motors near La Jolla, California (a suburb of San Diego). Later it was spotted and purchased by Dan Devos (founder of Amway Corporation) who owned it for several years.
It has 3 speed overdrive which is fairly rare.
