This 1957 Thunderbird has a 312 V-8 engine with dress-up kit, Fordomatic transmission, power brakes and steering, manual windows, manual seat, fender shields, a black soft top and a hard top. As of July, 2013 it was for sale on ebay and located in Amarillo, Texas. UPDATE March 2015, Redbow notified the Registry that he owns this Thunderbird. He says: I traded for the Bird from a used dealer in Amarillo Texas sight unseen, in October of 2013. They had gotten the car out of Florida. I was very disappointed when it arrived, because of it's mechanical condition. Otherwise it was a nice car. It would hardly run. Had to do a complete tune-up and replace the carburetor before I could leave the driveway. It has PS, PB, A/C, Automatic, 3 tops, skirts, and WWs. It's not a Daily driver but a Driver. I've added insulation under the floors, doors, kick panels and hood. Converted to a 100 amp alternator, Casco high flow water pump & thermostat, Pertronics, aluminum radiator with dual fans, Quartz clock. Have 9 trophies in 11 show - - - - - - - - UPDATE August 2016, Redbow says: I sold the car August 13, 2016 to Harvey Gordjesk of Houston. On august 17, the car was picked up by the shipper. He got about 40 miles down the road before being involved in a multi vehicle accident. The Bird came off the trailer and was destroyed. I do not believe it can be restored. (status changed to 19)
