This 1957 Thunderbird was documented in the book WHERE THE CARS ARE (1990) on page 141. The owner states that it was sold new by Marsh Wimbush Ford in Denver on September 14, 1957. As of 1990 it had 83,000 miles on the odometer. UPDATE July 2012, Dennis Dole reports this Thunderbird was documented by Mr. Larson (owner) in the July-August 1993 issue of Early Bird magazine where it was featured on the front cover. The article states that the original owner of the car was Walter S. Ratcliff. The Larsons' purchased the car in 1987 and are the fourth owners. (picture added)
