This 1957 Thunderbird has a 312 V-8 engine, Fordomatic transmission and 11,000 documented miles on it. It is black. It sold for $49,680 at the Barrett-Jackson auction in 2005. Glen Hockenjos sent the picture (06/09). In 2010 it was sold at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale for $56,100. UPDATE March 2013, Glen Hockenjos reports it is for sale at Daniel Schmitt & Company in Saint Louis, Missouri for $69,900 with an original 11,788 miles on its odometer. Numerous photos of this car are available including one of its gate release sheet. That sheet shows that this car was sold new at JJ Tucker Motor Co. of Sullivan Ohio for $3136.15. (codes added) UPDATE May 2023 it is for sale in Dallas, Texas.
