(Dec 2004:) This 1957 Thunderbird is in the middle of a restoration that was started 10 years ago. It has a rebuilt 312 V-8 engine, Fordomatic transmission, fender shields and a hardtop with portholes. As of December, 2004 it was for sale on ebay and located in Vista, California. UPDATE June 2012, Dennis Dole reports it was sold at the Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach 2006 Auction (Lot #386) for $90,180. It had a frame-up restoration completed. The car now has a Coral Sand exterior with a white interior. It has power steering, power brakes, AM/FM radio, wire wheels, leather interior, tonneau cover, and a soft top.
